PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Juliana LoBiondo has been practicing law since 1990. As a lawyer, her practice is devoted to DIVORCE and FAMILY LAW, CORPORATE TRANSACTIONS, COMMERCIAL LITIGATION and TRIALS and APPEALS. Juliana has handled hundreds of divorce, custody and commercial cases and has tried numerous cases, in District Court, County Court, Supreme Court and Family Court, in Nassau County, Dutchess County, Orange County, Ulster County and Westchester County.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Juliana received her Law Degree from Fordham University School of Law, with honors, in 1990. She received her Bachelor’s Degree, with honors, from New York University in 1987.

LAW PRACTICE HISTORY and MEMBERSHIPS

Juliana LoBiondo began her career as a Trial Attorney with the Nassau County Legal Aid Society, where she represented indigent persons who were accused of crimes, as well as persons involved in Family Court matters. Since leaving the Legal Aid Society in 1993, Juliana has developed a DIVORCE, FAMILY LAW, CORPORATE, AND COMMERCIAL LAW practice. Juliana is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, and the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section and the New York State Bar Association. She is a former President of the Mid Hudson Women’s Bar Association (1997-1998) and former President-Elect of the Dutchess County Bar Association (2004-2005). She served on the Executive Board of the Dutchess County Bar Association for nine years and has served on the Dutchess County Bar Association Grievance Committee since 1998.

Juliana LoBiondo has vast experience with all manner of Divorce issues, including complex DIVORCE matters such as valuation of closely held corporations and valuation of professional licenses and personal attainments; She handles CUSTODY and FAMILY Law matters of all nature, including custody determinations, relocation, modification of custody, and intrastate and Hague Convention (international) custody litigation; Juliana is one of the few local attorneys listed with the United States State Department as qualified to handle Hague Convention cases and has been recognized by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children for her pro bono work representing parents and children who have been the victims of international kidnapping.

Juliana LoBiondo has extensive experience handling DIVORCE issues specific to representation of high net worth individuals, such as distribution of stock options and protection and detection of marital assets, both domestic and abroad;

We also handle more Family Court matters, as well as Separation agreements, Pre-nuptial agreements, and Post-nuptial agreements.

BUSINESS AND CORPORATE LAW

We represent a number of local corporations, from publicly traded to closely-held family businesses. Some of our business clients have been with us for over a decade. The CORPORATE LAW practice includes an emphasis on formations of CORPORATIONS, LLC’S AND PARTNERSHIPS, and all manner of BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS.

COMMERCIAL LITIGATION

At LoBiondo Law Offices, we handle many COMMERCIAL LITIGATION and GENERAL LITIGATION matters. These range from Small Claims to multi-million dollar construction litigation matters. Many of the disputes originate in the way the underlying contract was drawn, or the fact that the parties had no contract. We work with our clients to ensure that future contracts and commercial leases are drawn to protect our clients to the maximum extent possible.
