Veterans' Assistance
If you are a veteran of the U.S. Military, Veterans Services Officers from Counties, New York State and National Veterans Service Organizations can help you understand and apply for benefits and services from the V.A., they can possibly serve as power of attorney on your behalf should you require it. If you served in the active military duty during World War II, or your spouse or deceased spouse did so, and you have no funds, this Office participates in a special program to provide legal assistance free of charge.
